These Club Rules are binding on all Members of the "Club 100" (‘the Club’) operated by Café de Coral Fast Food Limited (‘Café de Coral’). By submitting application to become a Member, the Applicant agrees to be bound by these Club Rules (as may from time to time be in force) upon becoming a Member of the Club.
An Applicant must register with a valid Octopus card or product and must provide true and accurate Octopus number on the application form. The Club will not process any application with incomplete or inaccurate Octopus number.
After submitting the application form, Members will receive an internet login and password via e-mail (applicable to members who submit their application via internet). The Member's password is an identification to Member and allows Member access to his/her account on the Club 100 website to update his/her personal information. The Member is obliged to keep the password secure. The Club does not accept responsibilities for any loss due to a Member's failure to keep the Member's password secure. Those who submit their application via branches may update their personal information by phone or in written.
Applicants (applicable to members who submit their application via internet) cannot select a Login Name or Password that violates any person's rights or one that in the Club's opinion is offensive, improper or inappropriate. If an Applicant or Member does select such a Login Name or Password, the Club owns the right to modify or delete it.
Applicants should validate their membership by paying $20 membership fee at any Café de Coral outlets in Hong Kong with their registered Octopus 2 days to 4 weeks after online submission of application form. After paying the fee, Applicants will become a valid "Club 100" Member of that year. If the Applicant fails to pay for the membership fee by 4 weeks from the date of registration, the Club reserves the right to cancel his/her application without prior notice.
Bonus points, “e-cash” and “e-coupon” would not be earned before membership payment.
2016 Membership is valid until 1 January 2017.
For the purpose of providing our services to the Club 100 members, the applicant agrees Café de Coral to use the personal information provided in the membership application form for managing the Club's daily operation, for instance, verification of members' identity and record, handling the members’ information and responding to the members’ request and complaint.
If a Member's Octopus Card fails to function properly, the member can present the official proof of damage issued by Octopus Holdings Limited/Bank and notify the Club in written format, the Club can register a new Octopus Card for the member and waive the re-application fee.
Not all Members will be eligible to participate in all Promotions and the Club may from time to time impose limitations on the rights of Members to participate in any special Promotion. Members taking part in any special Promotion shall be deemed to have agreed to be bound by any specific terms and conditions which may be imposed by the Club in relation to such facilities and services.
Members may terminate membership at any time by informing Café de Coral in written form, all unused bonus points, “e-cash” and “e-coupon” will then be voided accordingly.
Café de Coral reserves absolute right to modify Club100 benefits and Rules, in Café de Coral's sole discretion and may notify Members of such amendments in any manner as it considers fit. The Members will be bound by such amendments upon which the amendments are to take effect.
Misconduct, fraud, misuse of the Club benefits or failure to follow these rules may result in the immediate termination of membership. The Club reserves absolute right with or without notice to terminate any member's membership, the Club will not be liable for any loss or damage resulting therefrom.
Café de Coral reserves absolute right to terminate "Club 100" at any time upon reasonable notice, where reasonably possible, without giving any reasons. All rights and privileges of Members shall cease and Café de Coral will not be liable for any loss or damage resulting therefrom.
Members have no right to participate in the constitution, operation or management of the Club nor any right in or any claim or any assets of the Club.
If there is any inconsistency between the English and the Chinese versions of these Terms and Conditions, the Chinese version shall prevail.
2. "e-cash" & e-coupon Program
Bonus points start to accumulate from every Monday and are valid until the following Sunday (excluding Wetland Park Café de Coral branch). All unredeemed bonus points will be cleared at midnight of every Sunday.
When 3 bonus points are accumulated and $5 "e-cash" will be automatically stored in member's registered Octopus Card, the 3 bonus points will be kept; when 2 more bonus points (total 5 bonus points) are accumulated, $10 "e-cash" will be automatically stored in member's registered Octopus Card. 5 bonus points will then be deducted from the Octopus Card instantly and bonus point will be recalculated again.
When a member redeem "e-cash" in a transaction, if the balance is $20 or above after deducting "e-cash" and the rest of the bill is paid by registered Octopus Card, bonus point can be earned. If the balance is under $20, no bonus point will be given.
Expiry date of “e-cash” earned from 1 October 2015 to 3 January 2016 is 31 January 2016 while $25 “e-cash” welcome gift is 31 January 2017.
Member needs to renew membership before membership expires, failure to do so will result in loss of member’s right, thus cannot earn bonus points, “e-cash” and “e-coupon” and redeem ”e-cash” and “e-coupon” hereafter.
There is no limit for bonus earned in each Octopus Card every day, but the maximum amount if “e-cash” to be stored in each Octopus Card is $5,000 per year, no “e-cash” can be earned after reaching the limit, even if 3 and 5 bonus point are earned.
Member can know bonus point balance, "e-cash" balance and “e-coupon” balance expiry date from the bottom of the receipt in each purchase. Member can keep the receipt for record.
When a member redeem "e-cash" or “e-coupon” in a transaction, if the balance is $20 or above after deducting "e-cash" or “e-coupon” and the rest of the bill is paid by registered Octopus Card, bonus point can be earned. If the balance is under $20, no bonus point will be given.
Bonus points, "e-cash" and “e-coupon” accrued to a member's registered Octopus Card cannot be transferred to any other Octopus Card or combined with bonus points, "e-cash" and “e-coupon” accrued in another Octopus Card, even if such Octopus Card belongs to the same member.
Once the "e-cash" or "e-coupon" redemption order is accepted, it cannot be changed, cancelled or returned. The "e-cash" or "e-coupon" will be deducted from the registered Octopus Card and will not be returned.
If a Member’s Octopus Card fails to function property, the member can present the official proof of damage issued by Octopus Holdings Limited/Bank and notify the Club in written format, the Club can register a new Octopus for the member and waive the re-application fee, "e-cash" and “e-coupon” in the Card can be also recovered after checking.
"e-cash" and "e-coupon" cannot used together and are not applicable for purchase of outside catering and festive products; cannot be redeemed for cash; cannot be used in conjunction with other offers and no change will be given. No bonus point will be awarded for purchase of outside catering and festive products.
All information and records will be based on the information in Café de Coral's computer database.
Should there be any disputes, the decision of Café de Coral Fast Food Limited will be final.
